This debut beat-tape is a meticulously curated collection of some of the first works, as well as some of the more recent material by the German-based Hip-Hop producer Caligo /kaːˈliː.ɡoː/
It represents a journey of 7 years during which Caligo acquired the craft skills of beat-making - always being influenced by legends like ALC, Dilla, Premo, RZA, Stoupe, Madlib, Flying Lotus, Hi-Tek, Large Pro, Dre, Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, Beatnuts et al.)
With a deep affection for music and a strong passion for sampling, Caligo does not try to re-produce, but to re-interpret.

For Caligo, beauty does not lie in chart-suitable productions with standard-arrangements and a clear and predictable sound.
